Shabby Chic Halloween Party

You are invited to a Romantique Shabby Chic Halloween Party...
Here are two examples of paper invites...
Or will I send this "severed finger" invite: Invite my guests with a plaster cast of your index finger, nested in moss (lots of that in Ireland) Mix rubber according to package instructions, and pour into paper cup. Insert finger and remove when dried (2 min) Pour quick dry casting plaster into the mould, allow to set overnight. To make your finger look cadaverous, mix india ink andwater (1/2 tsp ink with 1 cup of water) dab mixture into the finger using natural sponge.Place with invite on moss in box.
How about these pictures as inspiration for the front door- found crows and plastic black snakes at a discount store
This is a very easy to make decoration-a branch and black bat silhouettes.
Will I entertain inside or outside?.... as always I am thinking of the desert table first- how about this "Black Candy Table" for desserts
Or these Romantique Shabby Chic cupcakes
Or would you dare to have a black candy apple....: 8 apples 2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup water 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 teaspoon black liquid food colouring stick per apple washed and dried To make: Wash and dry apples Push stick into each apple Line 2 baking trays with non-stick paper. Place sugar and water into a heavy-based saucepan, cook over low heat, stir until sugar has dissolved once the sugar has dissolved increase the heat to high and bring to boil, stir in the cream of tartar and food colouring.Reduce the heat to low and allow the toffee to simmer for about 20 min until it reaches hard crack stage (150 degrees C)To test the candy drop in cold water when you take it out it should not be sticky and should crack easily. Once candy tests right take of heat. Dip the apple into the toffee and turn the apple until coated. Allow candy to set.
This is a easy Romantique Shabby Chic Halloween table lay-out.
Use this Halloween tree as a centre piece.
How about placing only black items inside a black bookself. If you don't have enough items- go to charity shops and buy a few different shaped items and paint them black.
Or painting old wine bottles with black black board paint and then writing on them..
Or these lovely jazzed up bottles...
Black and white is the perfect colour combination for Romantique Shabby Chic
Or will I have an outdoor Halloween party....
Remember to dress warmly!
Or like we say here in Ireland- remember to layer....
Or for outside furr coats and masks....
Don't forget to wait for your guests-or maybe you can bring your own...they won't complain about anything....
Ok what will I be wearing.....
Love the....skeleton spanish bride...
Or a Venetian mask...
Or make a black feather costume....
For my hair how about one of these.....
This head band is easy to make: a white head band and a discount store skeleton added.
I found these pictures of spider queen tiara; and I have to try and make one with flexable wire and spray painted black.
Here is more wire work for the windows that I liked....
And now for my best accessory....
Until next time.....
