Romantique Halloween- Black & Beige

Shabby Chic Ireland's take on a Romantique Black & Beige themed Halloween.
Welcome to my Shabby Chic Ireland Mansion.
This Mansion is also run as a "Dead & Breakfast" don't let the sign mislead you we don't believe in false advertising. If you can not see the sign from the road please follow the lights...
Pass the personalized tombstones- make by cutting a few layers of tombstone shaped cardboard and pasting them together. Painted gray with discription of guests, some tombstones are placed at different angles to look real....
These hanging ghost lights at the front door came from from Amazon.co.uk
Now I promise this house is not haunted... The Shabby Chic Ireland Mansion has two halloween trees placed on either side of the front door for balance - please dont mind the crows they are our watch dogs...
This is the Irish Shabby Chic front door I really wanted!
Here is my Romantique Shabby Chic wreath. It was so easy to make - tie black strips of material around a wreath and decorate.
Now the all important halloween pumpkin: I placed halloween pumpkin's at the front door as well as inside.
This is my favourite painted pumpkin in Black and Beige to keep to my theme colours
Or otherwise leave this old Shabby Chic chair (that belonged to grandpa) at the door with the pumkins on top.
a rusted pot mades a lovely pumpkin holder.
make your own material pumpkin's by using beige material in differnt textures.
Ok you have spent enough time outside come inside.... But before you come inside you have to wear a disguise. If you dont want to wear a costume at least try on a mustache.
Or maybe some eye make up it's all the rage this 2012 Halloween!
Or maybe something for your nails- fair enough it does stick to the black & beige Halloween theme.
Do you want go for the a bat tiarra....
or this lovely bride skeleton cameo (it is my favourite)....
...and it will go so well with this corset. There is no such thing as over doing it here at Shabby Chic Ireland Halloween Mansion!
Great you have decided to dress formally for dinner...
Now come inside....please dont mind the guests..... they have booked in a few years ago
Come inside the parlour for a night cap first- the table is not really a coffin and the white sheets over the chairs is just to protect the furniture...
Now would you like a night cap- please don't read the labels...or think it strange that the bottles are painted black -it's all part of the theme "Black & Beige Halloween"...
Just so that you know that its not for real- here are some of the labels i printed off ... Now come with me dinner is served..
Am i not the best Halloween Host? - i have thought of everything...
....look at these cute candles i made- i borrowed some medical gauze (from the mummy) and used some modge-podge to stick it around a jar with google eyes with tealights inside....see nothing nasty can come from someone as domestic as me...
The great thing about Shabby Chic Ireland Mansion is that anything works-stick to two colours and groupthings together.
Look at these black halloween trees and topiaries.
Place a focal point on the table (to distract guests) like this cake stand full of pumpkins.
This pumpkin is painted in blackboard paint- and perfect to write a message on.
I covered this pumpkin in old lace-a guest left behind...
Instead of flowers make your own centerpiece.
Candles is a must in the Shabby Chic Ireland Mansion-you never know when the power can go out....
Now how about some treats...here I placed all the treats in a black book case.
And if the little monsters in the area come trick-a-treating here are my bags.
How about these spider biscuits..
How about using these plates....
No halloween is complete without a open fire,so lets go outside...
wait i hear the door bell it must be other guests who can it be...
Oh no it's trouble.....to be continued.....
